yeah, personally i thought the webroot crap was funny too. for fucks sake it wont even clean the shit it finds unles you pay for it. i suspect petgroup works for them or gets a cut of it or something. Sophos Antivirus is the one that normally has definitions for shit before anyone else so i would download their trial version Sophos - anti-virus and anti-spam software for businesses and run it. If it says you are clean then chances are you are clean. Hell, here is a whole list of Anti virus vendors and info CERT/CC Computer Virus Resources

If yer brave or at least not retarded you can use these tools to check for things that start up when the pc starts and for things running inside svchost processes, and do a check for rootkits

seems to be from pet groups 1st post that person wont belive a thing unless you ran webroot so i guess that person got some ties with that company

got hold of soe on both acccounts they not responded in 3 days to his petions on his 2nd hack as i said earlier in a thread now because he given 2 petions from 2 diffent accounts they calling it a kind of badgering or harrasment

i understand loads of petions on the same subject from diffrent accounts might throw the system a wobbly but what you going to do if they dont answer you? the account hes 1st petioned from was used because he could not get into his hacked account so when they finally answered after 2 days gave him a temp password he petioned on that account to make things a bit more clear for them

so to date 1 week later no account still and a warning may go on his account for asking for his stuff back

wrong. firefox with enabled javascript is all it takes to bring up your AV showing a warning for a virus in your firefox cache directory. i dont know, whether the script would be able to execute that code, but its downloaded at least.

It might go to cache for some reason, but someone correct me if I'm wrong, since its an activex, it pretty damn harmless sitting in cache unless you get all activex on its ass. And that ain't gonna happen if your using firefox and not randomly clicking buttons because you think they are shiny and pretty.
