I'm curious as to why you have such a hard on to make LFG conform to YOUR ethics?

You share aspects, but you don't have identical ethical codes, and I'm wondering why it's so necessary for him to hold to what YOU think is right when he's stated many times that he believes what he did was fine.

I never said or implied that you or I read every post there has ever been in the blackburrow forums. That is the first time I've seen that post, and there are no replies of mine in that thread that would indicate otherwise. In the thread that I linked, you responded to the person in question.

You continue to attack another person as a means to try and hurt me. If you can't attack me without attacking someone else, then just stop. It's not going to get you anywhere.

Getting him to conform is not what this is about. I've just been trying to debate things, but he has been more interested in opening fire with personal attacks than he has been with countering points that I bring up. How long did it take to get him to answer a few simple questions? I didn't anticipate that it would take 8 pages of posts to get an answer out of him, but it did.

* shrug * consider how you approached him. You impuned his ethics and called him an exploiter. But you called him according to what standard you adhere to and attempted to hold him to your standards.

You attacked him and his reputation. Is it any wonder he got upset?

Incidently... he isn't attacking your guildmate. He is asking you to defend your position against being guilded with people who bot citing someone in your guild as an example.

I'm not taking sides on this because what I would have done isn't relevant and it isn't my business to even suggest that LFG should conform to my notions of right and wrong.

All I want to point out, is that your posts give the impression of trying to force your standards of right and wrong and your views of what is or is not morally and ethically permissible in game on someone else.

That might be okay in your mind. I don't know. I, however, find it morally abhorrent to try and judge anyone by the standards to which I hold myself.

You attacked him. Couch it however you will, you came out the box launching personal attacks at him:

If you are smart, you'd call it out as what it was: a lapse in moral judgment. If you continue to argue that you didn't exploit then you are just making yourself look like a hypocrite.

If you don't think this was exploiting, then your moral compass is about as good as Jack Sparrow's compass, i.e. it points only to what you desire most

You attacked him. You called him out to either agree with you or he would be a hypocrite. You did not open a "debate" on the subject. You declared your opinion was gospel and those that didn't agree were immoral.

Yes, for the purpose of proving you are a hypocrite. Which was the exact same purpose you had when you started your attack against me here.
