For that alone, fuck off. If you don't know anything, don't comment. That's like me saying that I've never played a defiler, but I know for a fact that being a Wizard requires "ALOT[sic]" more reflexes.
Shovel the sand out of your vagina, because no-one's buying that the status quo for healers is impossible, as you're trying to portray it with your mezzing six mobs metaphor. If you think we're going to buy that shit for a second, then get the fuck out.

I was addressing the question as to why curing is not fun for many people. That is all.

Re: What makes it fun?
Kizee... From one healer to (presumably) another, you're a fucking retard.
Why is curing a bitch? Because raid halting detrimentals are an over used means of artificial difficulty.
Especially with the new trend of mobs stifling/interrupting you on the beginning of casting a beneficial spell. So not only did your target not get cured and put back to work, but now you potentially need a cure also to be able to operate again.
Outside of those two reasons there is nothing wrong with curing, no difficulty and very little paying attention involved. Hell noxious curing for me as a templar is just as easy as arcane curing and I have a group cure for that up half the time on fights it is needed.
But from your posts Kizee and the other few whiners it doesn't seem like you know anything about those encounter types.
It isn't fun, but it is playing your class effectively to be jonny on the spot with cures. And if you aren't having fun being effective and knowing your group/raid mates know they can count on you to keep them operational then you're playing the wrong fucking class and probably the wrong fucking game.

Wow... someone piss in your cheerio's this morning guys?
All I wanted to say in this thread was curing as it stands isn't fun and it turned into a "you fucken suck at your class post".
Yes, I know that curing and healing is a part of my class and I did a great job right up to when I hit the cancel button. I am just putting in my input with the other people that have issues with it.
Take a sip of coffee and think happy thoughts guys.

Re: What makes it fun?
OMFG!!!
This is one thread that I cannot believe the retarded defensivness of some classes.
First off, I have a Warlock, Monk, Brigand and Warden I raided with. Occasionally I raided with a friends Mystic when he took the night off.
First off, I know it's not just spamming buttons with the Warlock to get ubber DPS. I didn't play it that often but I knew it was a tough class to get good dps with and I did a hella lot of research and trial and error to figure him out. (and still sucked) I'm sure that the stress level of any Main character caster is up there if they wanna stay part of a leet sauce raid guild.
My Monk was my main, other then the occasional off tanking he was just spamming buttons because they really don't bring any "make or break" skills to the raid. Just spammin buttons.... When off tanking it was a WHOLE DIFFERENT story, but most of the time that duty was put on our Zerker/Pally or Shadownight. (depending on what we had that night).
The Brig was on another server and I wanted to raid with him more, but I never got a chance due to him NOT being on my Guilds server. The raiding I did do with him was pretty much just like the monk. He had important skills along, but there wasn't any need to be reflexive with them, except for deagro. If the debuffs hit, they hit. If they didn't there wasn't much you could do about it and just waited for them to come back up.
The healers....
The Mystic wasn't mine, I didn't have a whole lot of experience with it so I just fell into a rythm of spamming the various wards, bolster etc. at the appropriate times. It kind of got a lil stressful on occasion but since I was in the MT group all I ever needed to concern myself with was the Tank. If I knew the skills better and tried utilizing them in a raid it might have been more stressful, I dunno.
My Warden, UGH.. I LOATHED the times they asked me to grab my Warden for a raid. First order of business, drag the raid window and group window into the middle of the screen for fast selection of raiders. (no time to worry about what mob we are fighting, quick change of target was more important)
Then to get the main hot keys under my fingers so I didn't have to worry about clicking them with the mouse. (not enough time to mouse click a spell when swapping targets on the fly so often)
To speed this up a bit, I never, ever felt so tense at the end of a raid with any other class, I was always on edge cuz I knew that I usually had half a second to react to cures, heals, O'shit spells etc. or someone was gonna die. Do I let this heal finish or do I hit ESC, swap target and Cure that person? It was always decision, decision, decision and whenever you made the wrong decision someone died and you got bitched at. Rarely did we ever hear good job after a fight, everyone was busy rubbing epeens together in the DPS parse channel. We did however hear about it if we didn't do something right.
"WTF are the healers doing? How hard is it to fuckin' spam a god damn button? etc. etc. etc."
A heavy cure fight will have you wanting to rip your hair out, healers don't need any more stress IMHO.
Until you've played a raid healer for a while, you got no business telling them how tough there job is, so STFU. I know our MT shut up after I talked him into rolling a Templar on the pvp server some of us would play on.

All I can say is Kizee seems to be the victim of poor reading comprehension - not his/hers, but those who went randomly ballistic.

And like I said, until you can say you have some hours behind the controls of a healer in a raid situation, you've got no business telling them how tough there class is to play. It's one of the most stressful classes in the game. THATS why I never wanted to play mine. LOL
