When you get a bit higher, there are writs where 3 or 4 of the city guilds will give you the option to kill scaleborn (droag). I know you don't get alot of xp for writs, but it gives you something to do and you can build up a decent amount of status relatively easy.

You can also hang out around the temple of stone in TT and harvest ore nodes for your adepts and/or armor. You will probably have harvesting competition, but you can at least kill some stuff while you wait for the next node to repop.

I know you said no groups, but CoV and OOB are great quick instances (45mins to an hour) and you can pick up some nice items and your class armor. Unrest is a fun zone if you have time to kill.
