Default Re: Burnout - How do you handle it?

Everytime I log off, I imagine myself telling all the officers in CL to have wonderful, long lasting, healthy lives with their friends and family cause I'll never see them again.

I imagine telling all my guild mates how much I enjoyed spending time with them over the past year+.

Then, I realize that I hate everyone, wish no one well, and log off to play Battlefield 2142 so I can blow some bitches up.

Really: Grind said it, if you're not filling your life with shit OTHER than EQ2, you're not combating burnout. Buy a Wii too, that's probably one of the best investments my brother has ever made for me.

It was said in a previous post but I must agree binge drinking 1-7 nights a week fixes everything. Either:

A) You feel refreshed that you went out and did something. (now you can relax with eq2)
B) You have a horrible hangover and never want to do that again (feeling of safty with eq2)
C) You decide to quit to keep the drinking up (Lets do that every night)
D) Any combination of the above

By playing Enfo's, watching Anime, drinking, or going to watch the shitty thing known as MLS.

Since the MLS season is only April to Oct WTF do you do the rest of the year? I cant complain too much either I've only got USL Division 1 team here... but Setanta Sports and FSC and GOL TV on the Satellite handle everything else.

Considering the timezone differences, watching the EPL/CL doesn't exactly fix burnout issues during raid time :|

Eh, I've been playing DotA when I got an our or 2 of downtime can sneak a few games in. Its either the most aggravating game ever or a complete blast. When it sucks it doesn't help the burnout much

how could you EVER feel burnt out with...

broken game mechanics
broken avatars
unbalanced loot
unbalanced classes
memory leaks
not enough raid content
