my comment about Defiance becoming asshats really had nothing to do with the selling of mythicals (more power to them), I just took this opportunity to say it. They are asshats to me because they used to be helpful and displayed respect to other guilds that aren't as capable as they are. Under their new leadership they just like to display how 'great' they are and their disdain for the rest of the server.

I should have made a separate post under your guild sucks instead.

Yeah, but from what I have been told these same guilds selling trips to obtain mythicals are selling the plat to plat buyers or to plat selling companies...That destroys the economy, not to mention it's cheating...there is a guild on Guk who has at least one member tied to plat sellers, even delivering it in person...

I know guilds are starting to sell them and I guess whatever, to each their own. Personally though, i'm a practical kind of person.. Technically to DO regular instance groups I don't NEED a Mythical, or Fabled armor etc to solo heal a zone on my Defiler. I don't raid, so don't really NEED those kind of upgrades. And if I DID raid, i'd still want to earn it the old fashioned way no matter how long it took. The Oooh ahh effect just doesn't appeal to me if I know that I didn't actually EARN an item like that via weeks of death and repair bills learning the encounters firsthand in a raid.

Guess i'm just kind of old fashioned in the beliefs of working hard towards accomplishing goals. Buying an item like that, i'd feel more shame than pride personally.

To kill trak they will have to systematically boot all the retards from the guild. But then they wouldn't be able to raid.
