this has been going on on guk for a long time now

npu charges people 500pp for their updates but refuse to help any guardian or illusionist get theirs,, everytime they help someone they spam the raid channel with "add another one to the list"

tod also charges the same amount, but no class restrictions. As i believe these are the only two guilds on guk atm that are getting mythicals (only ones i have seen anyways) there are tons of people from non raiding guilds (and some raiding) running around with their mythicals.

i don't understand paying that amount for it, but to each their own

Question is what do you do with the weapon afterwards?

the guilds who got it for you will never ever guild you as you are marked a loser for buying it by them despite taking your cash.

Guilds nearing places like VP will also not want you .

So leaves a few guilds who are just in awe over your mythical and hope it can drag them thru T1 raids .

And sad fact is this Tiers you really don't even need this sort of weapon and even if have "bought" VP loot and mythical they can do this without you and if they could not then there are other issues with the rest 23.

So you are stuck with all this super loot and nothing to do but lowest tiers and instances.

Waste of cash if you ask me.

This game is a joke. If you can make real money by selling some coin in a video game, all the power to ya. SOE itself has beaten down their own product enough, so it boggles my mind people still give a crap about who sells plat or who buys mythical updates.

This game is essentially a co-op type of game that a few of your buddies play over a lan line or some shit. Aside from the multi-player aspect you get in groups, raids or your guild, it has no real MMO 'feel' to it any longer. Everything and anything worth a damn is instanced minus avatars, and they're only up one at a time, so there is little to no interaction between guilds.

I could give two shits about what alt asshole has a mythical or if he's selling or buying plat because it has likely 0 impact on me in game.

Why not? I'm in a guild that raids only 3x per week and we're just starting out in VP. I'd be shocked if we rejected someone because they had their mythical already.

Or are you assuming people who buy their mythical weapons are sucky players? That's not always the case.

There are a lot of pretty bad players in this game, even in the 'top' guilds on each server, so it usually takes guilds like 5-6 raid days a week to see the end game. Well, not everyone can tolerate raiding this annoying, laggy assed content for more than 3 days a week, so they choose not to join the 'top' guilds on the server, and hurt their chances at seeing their mythicals any time soon.

That being said though, just because that person isn't in that top guild doesn't mean he isn't a good player. If I had my mythical, and I obtained it via plat (which I would if I really liked the brig version - but I don't), i'd laugh my ass off at a guild that turned me down simply because I bought it. I'd think they were retards, and i'd probably be right.

Trak dead, btw....our MT cleric was hacked and had to use an alt... 3 friggin alts in the raid...
