Just need some slight modifications-

Remove all zone immunity.
Add a 15 sec zone timer in Overland zone.
Auto mentoring if you are X lvl above the highest group member.

/who shows player from both side in zone
/who all XXXX shows all players

That should make PVP more fun imo.

There are some horrible population servers in WoW, like they make EQ2's least populated server look insanely populated.

Yea Nek was dying when i quit. At night it wasn't so bad because I would be raiding, but trying to do a random PUG during the day was hard. I remember it taking an hour or two to get a group going in mid-day. And that's with two 80 toon I could have played with.

Some servers could probably use a merge, but there are others that I know have high populations. So I agree with who said that. But I would have the feeling that if they merged servers they wouldn't do a partial merge. All servers would probably be affected by it.

I know in December/January WoW was offering free xfers from select high pop realms to select low pop realms. Once the destination realm got to whatever target number they wanted, they then switched to another batch of servers.

That would probably be something that Eq2 should consider. Having gone from Nek to Oasis, and it sounds like you guys are experiencing the same thing on Unrest... its night and day difference in terms of the population.
