It's even more fun when only half the server is deserted. Our last WoW server was like 12k Alliance and 3k Horde. To Blizzard 15k seems ok, to those of us completely stuck in our raiding due to a mass exodus of players during and after free transfers (which were opened to quell our previously large population and help another servers population), it's pony up some money to Blizzard to transfer off or quit.

I opted for quitting.

Given the percentage of people who are capable of performing the exceptionally simple task of raiding in WoW, actually getting anything done on that server was near impossible. With perfectly timed AoE's and detailed strats for exactly what will happen during boss fights and when...it looks like people could do shit.

Unfortunately getting to cap in WoW takes a sub 70 IQ, and less than a week, so many "raiders" were dumbasses.
