If you and your guild were organized, you wouldn't need to spend half an hour waiting for a raid to form. And any of the T1 raid zones, and sathir's lair, can be done in less than an hour.

Even T2 and beyond could be somewhat possible, considering every raid instance is on a persistent timer, if you guys were actually able to organize your online time, then you could accomplish a lot more than sitting around.

I see your point, but what if you aren't in a raiding guild or even have any others in your guild besides yourself? /shrug

Not everyone likes to raid or is able to for a variety of reasons.. time organization is not necessarily one of them.

I am unable to raid and I am definitely not retarded.

I happen to have an allergic reaction to stupid people, I break out in swear words.

Old school raiding was all about discipline, now it's all about locker room talk and people bouncing around or practicing stupid emotes to make their character do some stupid pose.

30 minutes to prepare for a raid, no way that would fly in EQ1, you had a target called you were in the zone otw to said target in around 5 minutes flat.

And while you were raiding said target the next target was being staked out, it was one after the other if they were up, it was precision and skill at its best.

But now, in EQ2, I have honestly met some of the stupidest people I have ever had the displeasure to meet and I would never waste my time with them because I would end up cussing a blue streak and stabbing my eyes out with a fork.

Don't get me wrong, I am by no means saying that raiders are stupid, I have great respect for many of them here, but for me all it takes is one bad apple and it's over for me.

Therefore I am unable to raid.....

Yeah, it sucks there's so little to do in the endgame aside from raiding, but that's its own issue. Raiders don't really get more content unless they like all the other shit, too. I mean, you don't like raiding. Suppose a raider doesn't like crafting. Does that mean a crafter gets more content on average than the raider? Maybe, kinda... but it's still available to either.

Point is, you're kind of forcing this as a "raider vs. casual" issue when it's really just a "this expansion sucks" issue. Don't forget, after all, that Shard of Hate was originally supposed to come out with Shard of Fear, half a fucking year ago.
