Do you raid in Balanced mode or higher?
If so, I'd like to know your mode, fps, whether windowed or full screen, and hardware setup, including screen resolution.

Re: Do you raid in Balanced mode or higher?
I raid in straght Balanced... no custom changes.
Core 2 Duo E6750
EGA 8800 Ultra
4GB ram.
Windows XP.
Run Windowed
Resolution is 1900x1200 and the window is 99% of that screen while the parser/Firefox/MSN etc is on the other screen. EQ2 runs at around 1888x1122
Non-raiding FPS is 40-60 depending on zone.
Raiding ... a slowdown if I am very zoomed in and lots of particles.... if I zoom out I get around 20 FPS, while in full raid combat. Except when fighting Ekron, where it drops to 3 FPS.

What windows XP are you running? The way you have your system listed, there is no way it's picking up 4 gigs of ram and the only way you can get even close to running 40 fps is by somehow underclocking your graphics card. Maybe If you had 2 8800 gts sli you could get close to 40-60 fps, not to mention you only have 2 floating point pipelines comming out of your processor. Without some more info on your box, I'm gunna have to call shenanigans for now.

Full screen
C2D E6750
2GB RAM
nvidia 7950 256 (I think, may be 512)
Probably 30-40fps. That being said, after the "oooooh" factor of being able to do this, I went back to the "raid" setting in profitui because I couldn't focus on what was going on with all the particle effects.

Reason: My FPS #s are a complete estimate because I went back to atari for raids.

Yeah it doesnt use all 4 GB, but I have XP in 3GB mode.
Underclocking? nope just a standard 8800 Ultra out of the box.
I presume we are talking about the same card... EVGA | Products

EVGA GeForce 8800GTX
2 Gigs PC 6400 DDR2
2x 150gb WD Raptor Raid 0
Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatal1ty
EVGA 680i Mobo
Monster NIC
1600x1200 Screen Resolution

Re: Do you raid in Balanced mode or higher?
Core 2 Quad Q6600 overclocked to 3.0GHz
Zalman 9700 Fan
4GB DDR2 PC6400 Memory
2x 1TB Seagate Barracuda SATA 3.0 Hard Drives
Corsair TX750W Power supply
Intel D975XBX2 Motherboard
ATI Radeon 3870X2
1920 x 1200 Full Screen
Vista Ultimate SP1 64bit
Running with every possible max setting turned all the way up and on, getting 60FPS permanently with 0 decrease ever, even when theres 300 people around in any zone. Thats in Warcraft, if I used this setup in EQ2, it would be impossible since you can't find 300 people in a PVE zone.... I will never go back to fucking 20fps LaggerQuest2 ever again.
My monitors refresh rate is set to 60, therefore I get 60. If it went higher, I'd get higher. Fuck you Eq2.
