If you used the GSB's as much as I did, you'd have seen all the empty gaps in the old world geometry that were never meant to be seen from the air. That's a lot of patching to be done, not including the many possible needed changes to clipping.

You can still get to some pretty impressive places and find some pretty impressive wholes in the geometry using gnomish stilts (the jump boot thingies) and the racial Hover ability if your patient. Theres tons of wholes, and it aint just in old world zones.

Definitely a hack, since you did take damage (using fae fall/hover to glide doesn't take damage when you land, unless you turn it off while you're still high enough to do a regular fall the rest of the time), but again, definitely not flight in the same way a GM would be able to accomplish, not even flight in the definition of the word ie: sustained movement through air. It's just a really slow fall...

Flight =/= Glide.

He took damage cause he landed on the boat. When you get onto the plane of the boat safe fall/glide gets cancelled.
