Sounds like a personal problem. Get over it. Your personal annoyance is a small price to pay for returning some viability to the coercer class.

and it is 19.1% hate transfer and 19.1% hate gain and adds a hate proc and +100 combat art damage with a new robe in hate. Not to mention all the other utility a coercer adds such as dps buffs, coersive healing, thought snap, mana regens and such.

and guess what your hate transfers stack.

Wow, it only took them a few years to realize there were issues with one of the classes they created.

Its not that it took them 5 years to realize there was a problem - hell they discovered problems within the first few weeks and shut down a few "oversights" (Really, how does a pet dying giving a coercer XP and loot even GET through QA? Answer: Nobody fucking played one to QA the class).

Its more like it took them 5 years to grow a set big enough to address the goddamn overwhelming pile of issues. Or, has been pointed out, finally got a Dev to screw up bad enough to be assigned the task.

"You, Aeralik, clean out the coercer dumpster or pack your shit."

Give it two more weeks for him to find another job... his shit will be packed and we'll be right back where we were.

Instead of changing volatile magic, why not just change sprint to a time-based duration skill? Four races already get a 50% run speed racial skill that lasts 36 seconds, so its not like changing sprint will ruin the game.

Am I missing something or is it too hard for a coercer to get below 30% w/o cheating using sprint?

Have you ever used a Mythical Mana Flow which when terminates gives you 60% power?

edit - misunderstood your post. yah it's near impossible to get your power below 30% during a normal fight duration without sprinting... even without the mana flow mythical thing... with 2 healers wearing the dizok girdle in mt i have a hard time staying under 30% WITH sprint...

No, I don't want to hear about power, the power in that group is fucking insane with 3 healer power proc belts and a dirge and plenty of flows inc from other groups if necessary.

Point being...It's fucking annoying. They don't need to make enchanters pseudo-priests or shit like that to give them attention.

If your RL thinks the coercer is generating more hate than you currently, he's retarded. After, who knows.

Besides, the only way to get even near cap on both hate types is to have all 3 (coercer,swash, and dirge) in the MT group, -1 healer. Ignoring gear, of course. With all 3, passive gain is over cap, and transfer is as near cap as it's going to get unless the tank is a pally.
