Once I was driving near North Boulder, and I ran off the side of the road, into a river. I was going to drown, and try as I might, couldnt get the window rolled down to swim to safety. I looked at my wife tenderly, kissed her goodbye and prepared to meet my fate.
Suddenly, the car shifted, and started to rise! I couldnt believe it! I turned and looked behind me thru the back window, and god dammit, if there wasnt a single 25 year old dude standing there, arms braced, gripping the bumper like some sort of Roman God. "Quick!" he shouted, "Get out of the car!". My wife scrambled over my lap, and out the side door. We both climbed the steep embankment and looked down on our savior, our hero, just in time to watch him slowly pull our car out of the water single handedly, his armor glowing in the night, particle effects luminating him like some sort of superman.
"God damn!" my wife mumbled, "Thats one powerful raider!".

I'll take your inability to make any valid, salient counterpoint whatsoever as an admission of defeat and proof of the validity of my point.

Ariste - so basically you're using the typical "I worked hard ... i should be the only one with the rewards." defense. Like i said a greedy egotistically asshat.
|
I'm going to reemphasize Ariste's response: WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU WANT?
You can't have people getting awarded better items for difficulty when you're handing out powerful fabled items for easy things. The way it works is this: You kill a heroic mob. You get rewarded with a LEGENDARY item. It's a reward, it's a step up from treasured. How do you not see this as a reward? The name alone implies that it's fucking legendary. If you kill a mob with more difficulty, say an epic mob, you get rewarded with a FABLED item. It's a reward, it's a step up from legendary. You kill an even more difficult epic mob, you get rewarded with a BETTER QUALITY FABLED item. It's a reward, it's a step up from the previous fabled gear. This goes on and on.
They're all rewards based on their difficulty. Anybody that does not put forth the effort to clear the difficult content should not be rewarded as if they did, it's a fairly simple concept.
And a little back, on this point:

Especially when it doesn't effect you DIRECTLY in anyway. most here arent on a PVP server where a noob guild farming SoH can now pwn a hardcore raiding guild because of the gear they got.
so i ask again HOW THE FUCK DOES IT RUIN YOUR GAME?
|
How about this -- it DOES AFFECT THEM DIRECTLY. Their entire point of doing harder content, for better rewards, is removed. They can do easy fucking content and get the better rewards. It fucking breaks progression in the game, where you start with easier content and get moderate rewards and work your way up through harder and harder content getting more and more powerful rewards. Now you just do easy content and get the best rewards with little to no reason to bother with harder content.
Next to nobody gives a fuck what other people have, you guys are the ones suggesting that. How can you be so fucking stupid? Seriously.

Or be able to walk around with auto attack on so (in thier minds) "omg nooobs will drool all over my uber shit while i sit at the broker".
|
Oh yeah, I remember getting harassed by casuals for sitting at the broker before. Allow me to address this: Do you expect raiders to carry around enough empty inventory spaces to hold all their gear so they can strip down while in town for you? Will you do the same for me? Because I know I would sit semi-AFK in QH in my NORMAL SET OF FUCKING GEAR just tabbing back and forth occasionally to check the broker and attempt to get my last few masters, only to come back to some tells saying how much of a dick I am by attempting to get people to drool over me.
Yeah, apparently I provoked that by sitting around and using the broker. Nevermind the fact that I really, really didn't give a fuck what people thought of me.
How the fuck can you not see that people such as yourself are the ones with the inferiority complex getting offended at people being more successful at a fucking game than you? There's nothing blocking anyone from attempting the same content as "hardcore" raiders, especially now with persistent instances.
And allow me to reinforce my point:

maybe you should stop jerking yourself off while examining your fabled items and actually learn reading comprehension.

YOU'RE THE ONE FUCKING BRINGING UP PEOPLE JERKING OFF OVER FABLED ITEMS CONSTANTLY. RAIDERS DO NOT GIVE A FUCK, THEY JUST WANT PROPER PROGRESSION.
And yes, YOU are saying that killing an easy mob should give the same rewards as a hard mob. In fact, you've constantly been saying it by all the asinine "How does Joe noobcake having incredibly easy to obtain fabled items affect you?!/11/1//". With harder mobs giving better rewards, Joe noobcake would NOT HAVE FUCKING FABLED ITEMS FROM EASY CONTENT. Because, get this, that line of thinking would require easy mobs to give LESSER rewards than a hard mob.
But fine, if you want easy mobs to give fabled rewards (golly, they're not very fabled when everybody and their grandmother runs around with them, are they?) then give all the hard mobs mythical drops. Or will you then start going "OMG DOES JOE NOOBCAKE RUNNING AROUND WITH 10 MYTHICALS FROM SOLO MOBS REALLY AFFECT YOU?!?!"? Because that seems like the next logical step in your incredibly idiotic form of thinking.

This is not pseudo-work in quotes, this is you talking up the greatness of work and how much work you can do. Why don't we seriously just put Arbeit Macht Frei on the character select screen? And if developers listen to your stupid fucking trap instead of stressing as a top priority how we can make this fun, then this is the shit we end up with. Control effects and camps and rare-update quests and the whole fucking mess of it. So fuck you and fuck people who think like you. You aren't running the show anymore.

i remember when i was out drinking with my friends i decided to call it a night so i walked home alone were i was confronted by a gang of thugs hell bent on fucking me up .
i braced myself and prepared for the beating to ensue but....
out popped alesis the whinning casual idiot incapable of seeing valid points put before him and he shouted the only reason you can beat that guy up and rob him is because you do it every day 24/7 and have no life, if i mugged people as much as you id be just as good ah well i dont care even though i keep making comments and shit. im gonna log off and climb a mountain then go to rock concert and have an awesome time in my idilic lifestyle i feel so compeled to tell you about all the time
and fortunately the thugs then decided to leave me alone as they felt compelled to beat the shit out of alesis instead as im sure many would :D
alesis the perpetual moaning faggot to the rescue !
thanks man
