Hyperbole and sarcasm are a playground for people of very high intelligence. Less talented individuals can't comprehend.

If you were on Unrest, you could watch 70-79 for selling :0

Ever hear of buying loot rights? Last I checked, anything dropped in a raid can be bought and looted by somebody else before it expires. Smart guilds offer loot rights instead of transmuting everything.

Okies. I am, actually. Finding raiding to be pretty fun, at least when you can find 20 other folks who want to raid -- so far that seems to be the hardest part, and getting some luck on drops and loot awards.

That's only if you don't have your mythical, but anyway this is the problem with itemization, at least for Dirges and is similar to a lot other classes:

-The best forearms in the game are from a T7 contested.
-The best bp in the game is unattainable and it dropped off a T7 avatar.
-The best helm in the game is from the 4th named in SoH that any guild able to clear T2 should have no problems with.
-The best boots in the game are from a heroic named .
-The best neck in the game is from a heroic T7 named.
-The best earring in the game is from the 4th named in SoH
-The 2nd best wrist in the game is from a named in PR.
-The 2nd best ring in the game is from trash in a T7 raid instance.
-The best bow in the game is from the boss of a T2 zone.

All of these items are examples of why raiding itemization is still fucked up and no where near perfect. If this list contained 1 or 2 items, it would be close, but since 40+% of the top items for each slot list is from content that is not challenging, there is a significant problem that still needs to be addressed.

I don't think anyone wants to deny people access to viable upgrades. Look at me. I just might be the laziest person to log into this game. The progression for me (by design) is to finish these quests in Kunark and go kick some people in VP's butt.
The problem is, I hear that those encounters aren't very fun, so I am already dreading going in there. I'll probably do it atleast once just to see it. Now I hear about this Shard of Hate with lots of great loot and fun encounters (again by design,) why am I going to work on the progression? In fact, my time might be better spent leveling up the rest of my alts so that I can go in the Shard of Hate everyday. Do you see where the problem might be?

I don't want anyone to be left out, I just don't want to feel like I am wasting my time by following a progression that was designed by someone who lost sight of the whole system.

What I want to know though is why does it matter? Guilds full of regular players are still stuck at Venril Sathir, or Overking, and even though they all have access to the best loot in the game, arent clearing it right?
Why does it piss you guys off so much that someone who only plays 8 hours a week can have that shit, if your STILL clearing content noone else gets to see?
It really seems like loot = ego to the hardcore crowd, and progression is an excuse to justify it, cause those who have that loot and arent progressing to VP arent QQ, theyre off having fun and enjoying the game, and yet it seems like everyone in a hardcore guild has thier panties all knotted up over how much EQ2 sucks, all the while clearing the end game zones for more and more loots, every single day.

Please tell me why the fuck I should have to tell my guild to lets regress from progression and do a T7 instance over and over again if I want the best gear in the game that will help me kill the hardest mobs in T8?
