Holy fuck you're retarded. From a gameplay standpoint, how does it make any sense whatsoever that lesser content should yield better rewards? Your entire argument here is because the game has already been a broken pile of shit in progression that it should continue to be.

There's, you know, supposed to be a carrot you dangle in front of people to make them want to improve themselves and progress. If you take the carrot and just give it to anybody who can kill a solo mob, there's no reason whatsoever to play. It has nothing whatsoever to do with what Joe Noobcake has, nobody gives a fuck.

I'm going to go back to the KoS example. The best tank bracelet came from a collection quest. The best tank rings came from a heroic zone. I never had a fucking carrot dangling in front of me making me want to kill a contested or Cruor or something, I already had them because they took virtually no effort to obtain whatsoever.

God forbid I want to actually be challenged and required to perform difficult tasks to obtain the best gear in the game.

and god forbid people should get half way decent items in various ways. god forbid SoE tries to make collection quests more than fuckin fluff. You act as if EVERYTHING you can get the best of is from soloing. you named me 2 items out of how many?

so when someone as can solo get every good item from solo then i might hear your whines. however until then, there is still reason to raid and go into upper tier raid zones.

risk vs reward, work hard at you class, put forth effort etc etc - I raid, a lot, but when it comes to something i have to work at and strive for, and risk vs reward - the day this game becomes work is the day ill quit raiding. i really dont care all that much what someone else is wearing and where it comes from, im still going to raid because I have fun raiding. I still roleplay because i find it fun, i still do a lot of things in this game because its fun, but the day someone tells me this a job and not a game is the day i /quit
