I'm wondering lately if the intent at SOE is to start phasing out 24 man raids and transition everything to 6 man group encounters. That would be easier for the devs to deal with than trying to actually balance 24 classes and making all 24 classes raid worthy.

Dont be all aroused by that, because after raids leave picture, they`ll start to phase out group content leaving only solo encounters, and after some time this game will become chat lobby for LoN.

I have no problem with SOE or EQ2. But, then I came from UO and EA.. I've walked the 7 levels of Hell from a PvP/MMO player already.

For your info, I am in the Army , my job is infantry, I train my soldiers, take care of them, deploy every other year, AND I manage to maintain a healthy relationship with my wife, AND I also hardcore raid. Reason i can raid, I DONT SUCK AT VIDEO GAMES!!

raids are all there to do at lvl 80 so why not try and get the best stuff you can for your chr or your guildies?

raids give guilds a reason to do do stuff as a unit and grow as friends, so why not do that? what else you going to do at lvl 80? farm all day.

you dont have to be sat in front of your pc 24/7 to raid or have a good time loads of people work 12 hr shifts and do hard jobs and still find time to raid with there friends.

i dont see why people think its a 2nd job when its only a game, if it comes to it flick the switch on pc = game over simple as that
