I don't give two shits when a grouper is running around with a fabled item. I do care when a grouper or soloer is running around with a fabled that is better than raid items of the same tier. Don't even pretend like that doesn't happen.

How does it affect a raider's gameplay? It goes beyond gameplay. It goes to the degree where a raider's entire fucking purpose for playing the game, for advancing their characters, is useless.

Why are you so offended when a raider is running around with a fabled, while you're in legendary? So now I ask

it doesnt ruin my game at all, yet it seems to ruin the game on this forum when joe noobcake runs past them with a few fabled items.

The problem is NOT when "Joe noobcake" is running around with a fabled. The very idea of "fabled" is useless in the situations, as it is just a random label.
The problem IS when "Joe noobcake" has easily accessible items from soloing or grouping, that are better than raid quality items.

The egotistical argument is actually working against you. You are expecting the game to bow down to you just because it should. That's pretty much as self-centric as you can get.
