Trying to lure people away from trying out the free pvp beta weekend in AoC would be my guess.. :P

Re: Bonus Exp weekend - April 18, 2008
and that beta seems to be getting a lot of interest, mwahahahaha
Even if everyone doesn't move to AoC, it does look like the vultures are circling. I hope LFG has a plan to deliver my daily dose of schadenfruede if they do end up being like Horizons. I am sure that making fun of the Agency will be like shooting fish in a barrel.

It's like Rush Limbaugh doing what he can to defend conservatism and then watching the Republican Party completely fuck it up. Even he now takes his potshots at them.

An enchanter epic weapon without subjugation is like a Buckeyes T-shirt without the colors scarlet and gray.

Don't find yourself fixing things out of fear that you should have fixed out of love.

Re: Bonus Exp weekend - April 18, 2008
Yeah, that was happening to me too! Oh wait, it's just XP debt from the fucking repops in Castle Mistmoore. Are 4-5 minute respawns really necessary? Clear one side of the hallway, the other side respawns. We went through that cycle 3 or 4 times trying to get the hallway cleared long enough so we could pull the x2's in the next room one-at-a-time. Fucking annoying!! I wanted to drown a kitten after that.
I know it's supposed to be hard. It was endgame content in EoF. And I am sure this topic has been discussed to death, and I will get plenty of responses suggesting that I am asking for "easy mode" or nerfing encounters. But I just prefer instanced dungeons. Make it hard as hell, I have no problem with that. We SHOULD have to be on our toes. I get plenty of sense of accomplishment from clearing a zone. I just get fucking annoyed being thrown in the bottom of a well with an endless mob generator on all 4 sides. Slogging through the same mobs over and over does not give me a sense of accomplishment. If they want to make it harder, increase the wandering range of the existing mobs, or give them more effects, or add interesting and challenging zone mechanics.
