And lore about "flying ship" is another clue imo. Maybe Luclin will be "remade", or maybe we are traveling to some kind of "Shadow Luclin" (another dimension maybe), place where Shissar hide.

The ship was built before EQ2, so if it's true then it might be broken or an old thing for us after at least decades.
I think Shadow of Odyssey sounds off as a title unless it's referencing something. In the second Mudskipper story on the EQ2 website there's this mermaid queen that tells the main character, Twiddy Bobick (related to Fiddy?) to "let his odysseys begin". This is the guy that is working on building airships.
It's worth mentioning that the Mudskipper story involves a trip to "The Nest" in "the Northlands" to meet the mermaid queen Lasydia (from the isle of refuge?). The Nest is a breeding ground for dragons up near Halas that was featured in the Dragons of Norrath expansion for EQ1. All I know of the storyline is that a bunch of dumbass adventurers blew a hole into it from Lavastorm and gave Venril Sathir the opportunity to slip in and place a curse on it... after which it became (wait for it) The Accursed Nest. Inside were lots of cursed dragon shadow enemies and stuff like that. Basically just really really really bad news for the dragons since it takes like 1000 years for an egg to hatch or some shit. One of Zeb's prophecies from Mayong's library mentions that the time of dragons is drawing to a close. Connection?
Oh well. I can't resist hypothesizing about EQ2 still :P
"While i believe it might have something to do with Luclin i don’t think we will be going up to the moon. I think a large Chunck of the moon fell on to Norrath. Back before the game came out and they were realsing lore. They talked about how after the moon blew up a the oceans became very strong, and made passage by the ocean inpossible. My guess is that was caused when a chunk of the moon fell on to Norrath.
Which also fit in with the current lore that they have passed. One of them is the Escape from Guk, the other The Flight of the Mudskipper. Both of these are said to come from the lair of Trakanon. And Guk would be off the west cost (where Trakanon is) of Kunark. It would be easy for him to get infromation for a Luclin/guk Contitent. And if the shadows live there as well, it could show why there is a Shadow strong hold in Freerrot, since that is close by as well.
Also if a large rock from luclin did fall on Norath there would have to be some large (but smaller) impacts near by. On the west coast of Kunark again in the overthere, there is small impact craters. So the place in black on this map would be a near where guk woud be and would also be about the place where a large chunk of the moon could fall, with smaller chunks falling on Kunark."
I dunno if this was posted somewhere else here but in the official forums someone says they crawled model files on Test or something and came up with these. Dunno how they get this info but maybe someone here can crawl it to confirm:
Anashti Sul from DoF was sorta like the ungoddess of oblivion and apparently the lore behind her was she got cast down as prime healer and Rodcet Nife took her place. Which would make for a neat little new pair o gods.
Of course the big thing here is we have reference to "Nuroga," a Miragul dungeon and Veksar. The stories posted on the official players website referenced something that sounded like a Miragul dungeon up north, guk, and the broodlands/nest in the north.
Paired with the Runnyeye level 80 thing this sounds very, very much like a fill in the gaps LDoN expansion perhaps linked together by Ethernere, or the Underfoot, or some other shadowed invasion that we don't know about. Wouldn't it be neat if they final raid zone was protecting the city itself and maybe even moved up into the citadel/castle for once? This might have some potential. Of course all the others did too :P
