No adventure packs anymore? I've heard otherwise. I've heard there are 3 adventure packs planned atm actually. One to be released around the same time we see Kurn's Tower.

If there is going to be ANY more new mounts you can count on the fact that they will re-hash as many old mounts as they can. this means:

Rhinos: new Colors, with flames just as they did with wargs
Rhinos: With the Extra Armor (like wargs)
Rhinos: With Armor AND flames

plane of shadows from DND for example is definatly older. Just because some other game has done it doesnt mean it wouldn't be cool to have in a norrath setting.
