Yah SOE locked the post on their forums. They also said to take it up with customer support..the funny thing is I can't.
SOE CS told me if I petition the issue, i'll get banned.--because the issue has been resolved. Thus it's legit tactic. I've come to that reality and just want to spread the word so scrubs can get some love.
That's not venting it's helping out the scrubs obtain something they could not otherwise do. SOE shame on u for preventing the message from getting to scrub ears and telling me to use CS when you already told me I can't.
Nice Catch-22.
Here is SOE logic:
1) Petition issue.
2) Get generic CS response from a GM who has never played the game.
3) Complain about said GMs lack of understanding to get premoted up a level to a GM with a fancy title attached to their GM, like LEad GM or Ninja GM etc (+title always means they are one level up and want the whole world to know they are superior to the lowbie GMs )
4) Find out that this Titled GM also knows nothing about the game past level 20 gameplay.
5) Try to educate GMs in Petition system, and find out GMs are a seperate company SOE bought to spew BS responses to people.
6) BAM - now your up to SUPER GM level, HEAD GM of X , you can fill in X for whatever. These guys really know their stuff!!!
7) Oh wait no not really. Not only that now the GM tells you if you even message them about the issue again your account will be banned.
8) After feeling total disappointment at CS solution in place post a thread to SOE Forums to explain the new way you can do something-- which we learned from the previous 6 steps. Just informative post to let people know about gameplay issues.
9) Board Owner of Forums (not even owned by SOE) Locks your thread and tells you to go back and get a CS solution. (which if I did i'd get banned from step #7 above)
