Hit that panic button a few more times. I'm sure it will be entertaining.

The key difference there is that hardcore mode involved identical content to the rest of the playerbase but with a tweaked rule, so that in no way were the regular players negatively affected.

The chardok sokokar post change in this update though is just...frivolous. The original trip to get to it wasn't painfully annoying or even a cockblock, and really didn't even involve a camp; you only had to do it by foot once.

An enchanter epic weapon without subjugation is like a Buckeyes T-shirt without the colors scarlet and gray.

Don't find yourself fixing things out of fear that you should have fixed out of love.

Your a dumbass honestly, your first paragraph made no sense and didn't contradict what I said in any way, shape or form. Yes you do not die IRL from playing a video game, but death is still part of the game ( I.E character death, expt debt, gear degradation etc )

I actually can't believe I just had to explain that simple concept, which has been in almost ALL video games, to you. lmao GG sir.

BTW I've never hit a panic button since we argued, it's painfully obvious your just trying to argue to get me riled up in some way, but if you actually knew me you would know that the last thing I do on an internet forum is get mad. ( though I have been known to express outrage in the Everything else section! )

Sorry, you fail yet again.

My point STILL remains valid :

SOE continues to make frivolous changes for the sole purpose of making this game easier.

AS others have posted there are already numerous ways to attain soko post in chardok, from invising to hiring a conji, to following a group.

So why make this change all of a sudden?

To make the shitty players like you feel more skilled of course.

/end.

Yes, you are invalid. Frivolous changes don't make the game easier, because they're frivolous.

You make an awful lot of ASSumptions about how I play the game.

You fail.

Again you spout off your false logic, seriously think before you post next time.

How you can support this change just shows how stupid you really are.

It's not even about this one single change, it's about the fact that SOE is slowly turning this game into easy mode. From crappy itemization at launch, countless "item revamps", to epic quest that were completed within 1-2 weeks, to this update ( combining cures and this chardok change, among others )

SOE is seriously taking any and all skill out of this game, and you know what I'm not against that ( per se ) If people honestly want an easy care free casual game, then hell yea play eq2. Just don't get mad when the people who have played since launch are upset because this current game is not what was advertised back then.

Eq2 is dying and it isn't because of lack of advertising, it's because this game tries to copy WOW and what SOE doesn't realize is if people wanted a "wow" experience they would just go out and by WOW. The sad thing is it even fails to copy WOW correctly, at least WOW has a decent solid end game.

LOL says the person who ASSumed that I didn't play the game anymore.

Ironic, and funny.

And btw, the sole fact that your arguing against me about this change, without showing any supportive facts or even general knowledge ( remember you didn't even know the concept of death in a game before I told you ) only shows how shitty of a player you must be. You don't see me getting on Ryilan do you? because he actually supported his opinion with solid ideas and facts.

You haven't said one intelligent thing this whole thread, every time you even try to argue against me or anyone else, you just highlight one part that you can tear into, and completely ignore every other sentence. That's bad form sorry mate.

The reason this change is pointless? Because it was already EASY to get into chardok but at least it required some WORK, now SOE took all the WORK out. Not only is this change frivolous, it is absolutely retarded, it's like taking one step forward and then falling on your ass and rolling back 5 steps.

Yea I see what your saying. I was just using it as an example though of risk vs reward, now I'm not a fan by any means of hardcore mode, I just never saw the point ( to spend countless hours playing to have everything taken away from you in an instant. ) But at the same time if a game offers little to no risk, then it's just no fun at all to play.

God mode is only fun for an hour, after that you get bored.

Might as well close EQ2Flames if we are going to go by that policy. ;)
