Nothing new there, though. This has been how SOE has managed the game since November '04. With SOE, you know what you're getting before you install the game. Whining about fluff is just that, whining about fluff.
Oral might as well be whining about how allowing players to alter character appearance after character creation dumbed down fighting epic mobs. Real changes to mechanics that adversely affect game play are one thing. But fluff is fluff about which only retarded school girls give a flying fuck. Whining for entertainment purposes is one thing, but attempting to defend whining as a valid argument against some meaningless fluff change is pretty pathetic.

First off, no I won't give you oral. Second allowing players to alter their appearance has nothing to do with difficulty, risk vs reward, or epic mobs, in fact it has little to with the game at all, except as an appearance factor. Gratz on bringing up such a retarded comparison for the idea of risk vs reward.
Third this is not fluff, again if you READ what I posted it is not just this one single change, it is the many changes like this that just make no sense.
You know what I compare this change too?
I compare it to making amazing reflexes no longer being affected by luck of the dirge or the templar AA buff counterpart. ( forget it's name atm )
The reason is again, it makes NO sense at all for this change to go live, except some dumbass reason the dev's spoon feed us.
And fourth, by your logic, no one should whine about anything, because as we all know, this is SOE, and you know what you getting before installing the game ( easy solo quest, tons of lag, epic rewards for little to no work )
So going by your logic, you had no right to
http://www.eq2flames.com/general-gam...r-release.html
make that thread. I mean hey, it's SOE you knew what you were getting before you installed right?
Ya, nice logic you have there dumbass.
Like I said countless times before, it's the trend of these so called "changes" that annoy me, not this one single change.
Chardok is easy to get into, but required some work with a group to get all the soko post, though like benji said, if you can invis and were careful you could do it solo, but this change completely removes the "group work" factor and just makes more "solo work".
See the changes I'm talking about? The best way to get exp used to be through groups, now the best way to get exp is through solo questing.
All of the recent changes, actually all of the changes since rok have been more or less designed to cater to the SOLO player, and I'm sorry but if you honestly want to solo in an MMO then go fucking buy oblivion.
MMO's should bring people together, whether it's through pvp or pve, not push them apart like 90% of ROK did.
Retarded changes for the lose.
