UPDATE:

I got a tell today from a GM from a French server, and he said to me, "I was reading up on a fansite who name I cant mention that you where having an issue with your housing item count, and was wondering if it had been resolved yet, and if not, could I help?"

I told him no, the item had not been resolved, and anything he could do would be much appreciated.

He told me he was going to log into my account, and dont log in for awhile so he could fix it, and that he was going to transfer my toon to his own personal Super Duper GM account, and resolve those issues for me.

I left and went to a meeting I had scheduled in real life, and when I came back and logged in, sure enough, my entire toon was missing. I immediatly logged back out and went to grab some wings for lunch. When I came back from lunch, my toon was back on my account, and the evil moving crate had its contents emptied all over my living room, and was gone. FINALLY!!

Not 30 seconds after I had logged in I get a message from this guy, and hes like "Stay put, ill brt" and appears next to me in my house. We go thru each screwed up item, he fixes the issues, and resolves everything.

As hes leaving he checks to make sure I have no other bad shit going on with my account, and that Im straight, and then tells me very humbly hes just doign his job, and likes to fix things other people cant figure out, or cant get done. As he was leaving he left me his in game toons name, his server ID to get ahold of him, and told me to feel free to send cross server tells or in game mails and let him know of any other issues I come across, and hed be glad to come resolve them for me in the future, as quickly as he could. How cool is that?

After talking to the guy for like half an hour, I learned several things:

1) GM /Devs still read EQ2flames, they just cant post here. He said he wouldnt mind me posting screenies, it wouldnt get him in trouble, and telling this story wouldnt get him in trouble either. He did not however make one mention of this web sites name, or refer to it in code in anyway, though it was very clear in our conversation where he saw this particular thread. (This is the only place Ive posted it too).

2) He could fly, in 3D and his little dragon illusion looked awesome doing it. I wanna fly in 3D now, and I wanna do it real bad lol.

3) Not all GMs are raving idiot asshats, cause this guy found a bug in my house, and then worked for half an hour to find its resolution, and got done what no other GM could do, and was downright fucking fun to hang out with while he did it.

So here you go my Dragon GM friend, I know you cant reply to this thread, but I fucking /salute you sir!

You are both a gentelman, and a scholar, and your help was very much appreciated.

SubjectHousing Bug- Moving Crate Discussion Thread Response (CSR Xavier "Spadaccino" M.)05/01/2008 02:22 PMGreetings Alesis,

Thank you for contacting customer service for Sony Online Entertainment. GM Spadaccino, at your service!

I understand that you were having problems getting some items out of your moving crate. I apologize for the aggravation this may have caused and for the fact that we didn't get to it sooner.

After speaking with you in game I logged into Alesis, placed him on my account, and then removed the items from the crate. I spoke with you in game afterwards and it seems that you were able to pick up all the items except for the books "The Haunting" and "Summoning an Elemental". After verifying your logs, I took your old books and gave you new ones. You also stated that the problem with your house vault conning red was fixed with an earlier update. As the issues you were experiencing seem to be resolved, I am closing this /petition.

If you have any other questions or problems, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your continued patronage and have a nice day.

I sent in a petition and got a live person reply in 10 minutes. I was kinda shocked.

Wrong game though

I personally would not be happy about getting Customer Service 6 months later.

A) My tv breaks it's under warranty
B) I call tv company - complain
C) they send out guy and he says it's fixed
D) I turn on my TV it's not fixed.
E) repeat C-D three times over the course of four month
F) TV company tells me they will sue me if I continue to ask for help

G) Months go by
H) Tech guy randomly read forum post about problem.
I) The one guy who can actually fix shit right decides to be nice

For this kindness -- you forgive A-F.
Bad logic.

It was just random luck that i posted this thread and that one GM out of a million read it that you got your issue resolved. That in itself shows you how fucked up SOE customer Support is. So please stop trying to make it out like SOE Customer Support is awesome all of a sudden.

YOU agreed it sucks ass, and some GM came along to try to bribe u into saying it rocks. Don't fall into this trap, continue to state what BS CS they have. Random help is not good help.

Well my point was yes SOE customer service can blow, but I happened to come across a single dude who went above and beyond, and didnt blow my issue under a rug like all the others did.

I wasnt saying SOEs customer service team rocked or anything, just giving props to the one guy who randomly stumbled on a problem and instead of ignoring it, stepped up to the plate and helped, even though it wasnt his job to do so.

I mean, he was a FRENCH SERVER GM. He didnt even have to acknolwedge me, let alone help, but he did, and for that I thank him, publicly.
