UPDATE:
I got a tell today from a GM from a French server, and he said to me, "I was reading up on a fansite who name I cant mention that you where having an issue with your housing item count, and was wondering if it had been resolved yet, and if not, could I help?"
I told him no, the item had not been resolved, and anything he could do would be much appreciated.
He told me he was going to log into my account, and dont log in for awhile so he could fix it, and that he was going to transfer my toon to his own personal Super Duper GM account, and resolve those issues for me.
I left and went to a meeting I had scheduled in real life, and when I came back and logged in, sure enough, my entire toon was missing. I immediatly logged back out and went to grab some wings for lunch. When I came back from lunch, my toon was back on my account, and the evil moving crate had its contents emptied all over my living room, and was gone. FINALLY!!
Not 30 seconds after I had logged in I get a message from this guy, and hes like "Stay put, ill brt" and appears next to me in my house. We go thru each screwed up item, he fixes the issues, and resolves everything.
As hes leaving he checks to make sure I have no other bad shit going on with my account, and that Im straight, and then tells me very humbly hes just doign his job, and likes to fix things other people cant figure out, or cant get done. As he was leaving he left me his in game toons name, his server ID to get ahold of him, and told me to feel free to send cross server tells or in game mails and let him know of any other issues I come across, and hed be glad to come resolve them for me in the future, as quickly as he could. How cool is that?
After talking to the guy for like half an hour, I learned several things:
1) GM /Devs still read EQ2flames, they just cant post here. He said he wouldnt mind me posting screenies, it wouldnt get him in trouble, and telling this story wouldnt get him in trouble either. He did not however make one mention of this web sites name, or refer to it in code in anyway, though it was very clear in our conversation where he saw this particular thread. (This is the only place Ive posted it too).
2) He could fly, in 3D and his little dragon illusion looked awesome doing it. I wanna fly in 3D now, and I wanna do it real bad lol.
3) Not all GMs are raving idiot asshats, cause this guy found a bug in my house, and then worked for half an hour to find its resolution, and got done what no other GM could do, and was downright fucking fun to hang out with while he did it.
So here you go my Dragon GM friend, I know you cant reply to this thread, but I fucking /salute you sir!
You are both a gentelman, and a scholar, and your help was very much appreciated.
