I personally hate "birms" and obstacles that turn a zone into a maze, where you are a few feet from something but you have to travel a mile around through a maze.

This is like math puzzles. I hate this.

I gotta believe that whoever designed G Fay also designed Nek Forest, the designed in maze and obstacles in the two zones are very similar IMO.

The good side NPC's remind me of those assholes at work who are entirely too happy to be there at 8am.

The only one I really have a problem with on the evil side is the FSR guy at the crossroads in the Commonlands.

A lot of Nek has been fixed, though. It's not too bad now that you can hop on those cliffs that are only like 3 feet high. There's still a few mountain ranges, but not nearly as bad as before.

Zones that can eat shit and die:

1. Rivervale with its walls. Sure, they're not all over, but they're in enough places to be irritating.

2. Qeynos Harbor. Fuck those canals.

There's other irritating zones (be they too big and spread out, or convoluted), but those are the ones I hate the most.

For what its worth, I wouldn't trust your sources. We just finalized the expansion last week. And no, I'm not giving any hints except that it will be great! Like Scott mentioned in the Producer's letter, more of larger zones with that epic feel.

Funny, I don't find anyone on the official forums named Greg Spence, unless he's never posted there....

He's listed in the EoF manual under "Additional Programming," though.
