It was that was for at least 6-8 months. They removed the jackpot and left just the payout for 5 matches and down. The jackpot was blank. They ignored or deleted post made in the official forums about it and would not respond to /petitions.
Not 6 months ago they finally put a number back up and people started playing again. Well actually people still played with no jackpot, but even more played after they fixed it.
Well, lets see I haven't raided since last summer... so around that time. I remember for about a 2 month span we couldn't see the jackpot display. We all wondered if SOE made it that way b/c someone won it. At that time it was well over thousand plat and we thought maybe they did that to keep the person's identity hidden so they weren't bugged. /shrug
Yeah, I remember it was around 1700 or somthing and i just quit playing. I came back a while later, and the jackpot was gone. Since the release of RoK sometime, I believe, they put the jackpot back and its been going up.
@ valor a guy botted that thing, long time ago, by autoclicking and won the pot.
some minutes later a gm telled him some gratz a he didn't respond.
he got banned and the pot was gone.
