Yes, sony has ruined the game that much. I bet soon they might start combinding some servers.

Yes, they have totally fucked this game, AND they don't give a shit what the customers think about anything. The dev's all have their own agendas, as we have seen recently.

I am not saying "Conan will be the death of EQ2" or anything like that. BUT AOC, and WAR are both looking like solid games. Even if they are not smash hits, their release will most definitely put a dent in EQ2's already dismal population.

I think they need more server mergers, and move NPU to the test server.

if anything that will be good it means there will be more grps and better chances of new players finding ppl to play with

i disagree, i think the problem starts at 43. After runneye/steamfont there is a barren wasteland some call deseret of flames, but pre rok it was the worst expansion, and no one enjoyes the 80 mile runs the devs put in and called quests. I would not be agaisnt seeing an entire expansion with just 40-80 content, and of course some new raid zones. Of course, its easier to just let the game die and have LoN pay the bills, which is exactly whats happening.

Have to agree there. I have a 45ish alt I'm trying to level and once you get finished with the quest lines over in steamfont theres a big gap to the next set in lesser gaydwar.

but to answer your quest. yes sony has killed this game with their incompetence.

IMO, the toughest levels to get groups in are by far tier 8 and tier 6.
