The game can't die, LoN only makes money BECAUSE of EQ2. Those mounts are the big reason why people spend money on LoN.

But I agree, around 45 the game has issues, the next expansion should create a zone for 45-55, 55-65, 65-75, and 75-80, and then a shit-ton of content for 80s.

I dont see EQ2 as dead.
Yes...there might not be as much grouping as before..like in EOF.
But the channels are not dead..i see ppl talk in the 1-9 all the way up to 70-79 channel. (perhaps you need to mark the channel in option ) lol.
On splitpaw we have Norrathtrade...I dont find that dead either.
But ive noticed that many ppl expect other to find things for them to do.
They complain about guild that dont make guild groups...that they cant find groups...and so on and so on....come on !
Im not saying all the people who wrote here is that way...but ive met many that said exactly what you said and they cant be arsed to do one thing themselves, and only want others to do it for them.

A game becomes what you make of it.

Yeah no kidding. It's completely fucked atm how through the mid-levels all the good xp content is group quests/dungeons and of course there is virtually no hope of finding a group to lvl with.

Then you push through to the high levels where players are more plentiful and it's a solo-fest.

I wouldn't be surprised if certain classes just aren't rolled anymore. Hard to imagine the pain of solo grinding a defiler or templar to 80.

i been lvling an alt., doing 95% or more solo, i did lvl my first char 0 - 70 mostly in groups and it was fun, but been make now 3 chars with lesss than 20% group.

actually i lvling this wizard now 64 and the gropup i been doing with it is less than 1% 99 has been solo and i enjoy it a lot.

The game is enjoyable, cuz the adjust the solo part, cuz people cryed a lot in the firts months of the game that they wanted to solo more.

About the chat channels... mmm get a guild., i'm chatting all the time, asking dumb questions on guild chat, and also i joined some worldwide channels. so the chat is all the time active., also i use ooc if looking for something on the current zone, like a moob and i don't want or feel lazy to open browser window to search location.

YOU CAN LVL 1-80 completly solo, doing quest average 2 lvls by day if you play some 5 - 10 hrs, just do the timeline quest, go see wiki for solo timeline.

not reason to complain really.
