no it has not been announced but i guess you dont have the problem but that majority of servers are wastelands of empty space my guess is after Aoc comes out with in 2 weeks they announce and will do server merges/free transfers in the hopes of livening up the game for those that still play and bait to get players who have friends on other servers but quit cause they dont feel like paying the 50$ to transfer to come back

I'm envisioning AoC failing nearly as bad as Vanguard. EQ2 will live through the summer.

Ahh. I have been in Beta. I've also noticed that this game appears to mostly be hype. But we'll see.

Yep Pitty, some of us are happy with the Update. Just because it doesn't make you happy doesnt mean it's worth a rant over

I was in Vanguard beta the weeks leading up to launch, and I'm also in AoC closed beta. There is a huge difference here. In the last week there has been like 4 or 5 patches, losing count now hehe. But these dev's are really dedicated to the game, listening to feedback, and fixing things. They even communicate with their community *gasp*, even if it is something as small as replying to a thread and saying "we know about this problem, and we are working on it". Fuck, if only SOE could do little shit like that it would make a world of difference.

all companys are like this at start then once you get addicted they turn into ass holes on high horses
much like addictive drugs fun and a cool experience the first few times then something that begins to become something you need and nolonger something you do solely for pleasure

I just don't think it'll last. I think it'll be a flop within the next 2-5 months.
