Vanguard was different, that game was so broke and ran like shit on everyones system, and the population was so empty even at release.

AoC already has more pre orders then EQ2 has had accounts at a single time, the games gonna be a success. No, it's not gonna have 9 million or whatever like WoW. No MMO will ever even come close to that number and they have all been a success, but AoC will fail? what's that make EQ2 which has had at most like a solid 250k subs? yeah.

Pre-orders doesn't mean much, it's the subs after a month or more that count. I'm going to be playing AoC, I'm not going into it thinking that it will be a complete and polished game. But FFS, this game is 3.5 years old. There are so many things fucked with it. Every expansion has been practically identical, things mentioned that are supposed to be selling points of the entire expac, but not delivered until months after release. Same fucked up itemization issues, same problem where they constantly fix shit till it is broken, and worst of all, fix lag 8 months into expac, then turn around and reintroduce even worse lag and not know how to fix it. Even if AoC or any other game for that matter was released with 2 zones and 4 playable classes, it would be a step up from the bullshit EQ2 constantly pushes out. This game may not die in the near future, but you will see a player base turn around like that of employee's that work on a cruise liner. Also, you have to be a very ignorant fuck to think AoC is anything like VG, the only comparison that is even viable is that they are both MMO's...

Been doing well, played WoW for a little bit, got to 70 in 3 weeks, then got bored as hell grinding faction and battle ground honor...

I dunno why it wasn't in the patch notes, but one of the better changes this LU is that items with clicky effects now give you the casting time and recast in the examine info. Makes deciding whether you want to spend DKP or roll on something a whole lot easier.

My Coercer is loving the update. Soloing RoK mobs is pretty easy now even without a pet whereas before it was kinda lame and a lot slower. Haven't tried the new cure changes on my Defiler yet, but the change to stacks is nice for my Brig. :D Mostly though the Coercer changes were just awesome, glad I left her in the early 70's so now I can actually enjoy levelling the class a bit more.
