GU-whateveritwasthatEpicweaponscamein was a bad day. Total of just under 8 hours gameplay in a 24 hour period from when they first started patching due to server instability and shit.

Back in 2005 (before any exp. pack) - US Servers was down a whole day because they had to update each server individual and manually because something got fucked up iirc. This was a GU update, as well.

At least we got double xp out of it. I think it happened on a Saturday. We may not be talking about the same thing though.

HA! crushbone was 10 times worse, at launch we would go days being the only server not up, they seem to have fixed it now tho

There is very little downtime compared to eq1.

Shit, they used to take the server down for DAYS before expansions, and it was nothing to have a 12 hour patch every week or two.
