Sorry, but even EQ2 is going to maul Vanguard, VG has pretty graphics and is extremely anti solo, pro group. I have heard that they don't have shit for raid content. so if you want to play, get used to sitting around shouting out for a group because you can't really do anything worthwhile solo.

Darkfall will be the next best MMORPG even if people are too carebear to play it. Even the DF fourms are more hardcore than the current choice PvP (more like Player+Developer imposed restrictions vs player) MMO, WoW

That had to be the dumbest comment i've ever heard. EverQuest2's subscriptions are horrible and alot of people were debating on staying or not on the expansion. The expansion is garbage, do some research and look at the subscription count post expansion. The game is weak.

Again I disagree. I'm having a great time int he expansion and loving the game right now. This is a massive improvement over DoF and KoS.

This is actually a huge endorsement. LFG has been one of the disillusioned for a bit, and was highly skeptical of EoF.

While no expansion will fill all the needs of all players, they took a damn fine swing at it with EoF, IMO.

I said nothing about EQ2 being the best ever, I simply said that VG sucks total balls (a friend of mine even quit a free beta, and he's a cheapskate and will play any fucking MMO he can get for free), so much so that second gen MMOs like EQ2 will beat the shit out of it, while another 3rd gen game will be the best ever.

That being said, I really do like EoF, it's a lot better than KoS was, everything seems to have taken a turn in the right direction, heroic content is slightly less of a joke (devs realized that people can kill multiple yellow ^^^s at the same time in one group), itemization is improved across the board (the sole exception being the shared loot tables of MMIS, and even then about half of the items are pretty good, mainly that damn cloak and staff suck).

The only gripes I have are:
-MMIS, every mob in here other than mayong is pretty much a joke, the respawning trash kills more people than named
- MMIS shared loot table, it simply isn't creative and seems like an easy, quick way to itemize a zone quickly, some items are awesome, some are shit that gets transmuted.
- Kaladim, way to cram as many fucking mobs in here as possible, I have to get a group to farm glowies in here, annoying as hell, these are pretty much the only glowies in a zone that isn't grey I need for my damn goggles.

Some people enjoy the game and others don't, nothing to argue about there. Though the expansion was disliked enough to drive off a large chunk of subscribers. The server populations have dropped a great deal and I would'nt be surprised if servers merged again in the near future. Vanguard has about a third (Chances are more, but i'm being nice.) this games subscribers signed up for there boards alone. I know someone who beta tests (/whistle) and the game is alot better then EQ2 in every aspect.

Raiding guilds (higher end raiding guilds...) don't see a difference because there players are dedicated and continue to log in and play for the fact of raiding.

Indeed. For more casual players other aspects of the game may be more important and EOF simply does not deliver imo. I could not reconcile that 75% of the new content was grey to a level 60 (or was it 70, I'm beginning to forget already

). Less quests available to Freeporters certainly didn't help either. The raiding I did do I simply wasnt that impressed with, but Im sure there is some fine things in the high level instances that are nice ( but of course you only see this as a High end raider). The new secondary tradeskills were ok, but the nerf on transmutting was a joke and told us that yet again, they did not truly think things through to impose a nerf so soon. I think I gave EOF a fair shake, it simply did not live up to my expectations so time to move on.

Happend to find this video inbetween posting and share it, the game looks better and plays better (..says my source /whistle) and it'll just be more intresting and entertaining. So long as they fix the rate of which those wings are flapping... ewww

well many of the aspected of VG loocks nice, but I fear the game will requiered way to high spects of a computer so it will only drag the one whit engthe money to upgrade the computer to the max (yeah I whish I culd aforded that dammed kids ;D))

as far for EoF ruind the game, well im not sure I probley be bord as hell if I hadnt change server (for playing on a euro server so I more easy culd see raiding whit out have to do it on nigth time. since raiding from 3 in the nigth to 9 in morning gets hard whit kids and work)) but aculy teh lvl in new zone is kinda fun, then agen I have locked away from grinding and just doing quest and have fun this time. well Surly I culd preffer a harder game where aculy the once that played the most was rewareded the most, and not 2 years of gaming culdnt be chach up to whit a few months if you have the time nad rigth freinds. but for me eq2 is the best options out there for now.

so far from a Vg fanboi, but some part of it lock intresting and the new vidios locks awsome, but do you guys have something whit the charcters model the last vidio I saw of that lock like SHIT and if toons lock like shit then it must be bad
