::Raises Hand:: Retired and loving it! Many reasons, from the departure of friends to the last pathetic Expac EOF. Having fun in WOW till VSOH. If VSOH is indeed FTL, I'll continue in WOW with no problems. I just wanna have fun again.

Current EQ2 players, former EQ2 players, people from Mars, goldfish who can type, and many other life forms are welcome and post here, but it is far from true that EQ2 is dead and done.

I'm reminded of this everytime I zone into Greater Faydwer, which still has 4 instances up on many days.

I call it the "WoW reaction" - people who leave EQ2 for whatever are naturally inclined to say this game sucks and the other game > all.

I disagree. I'm going to try Vanguard, but in my opinion, EQ2 is STILL > any other MMO on the market.

That's my happy thought for the day - fuck anyone who disagrees with me! =p

Bought and paid for also, the URL, site and software:

I need to get off my ass and customize it, then open it up. When I do that, I'll copy all user accounts, titles, privileges, etc. from here to there, so anyone who wants to move to VG can do so seamlessly, at least for flame board purposes.

I'll prolly take next week off work, and will try and have it up before the 1st.

lol, oh not in the least. I too hated WOW, unfairly so. EQ2 is a fine game but WOW actually had more things I preferred in an MMO (Individual looks, great gameplay, independence, great group and solo play, seamless zones, etc.) once I gave it a chance. Not hating on EQ2 here, though I think the expac is garbage. Maybe in the future I'll have another look. but as a busy professional I have to make choices about my hobbies, I simply dont have the time to play two games at once (particularly an MMO). WOW has more of what I want. As I have been anticipating VSOH for a year and a half, I must try that (and WOW's on hold for a bit). /shrug No hater there. Now talk about the community...that's another story. I think many, but the most tenacious of us, have run screaming from it long ago.

Pretty much the same here, I didn't even have to try EoF to know it was pathetic though.
