I stopped leveling alts alltogether, could not face anothe Kunark solo grind, one is more then I can stomach.

That's exactly my point.
Nobody wants to level alts and that's not cause 1 to 70 takes long. It's cause t8 sucks.

Yup i have a lvl 70 necro which of course is solo friendly but still cannot stomach the thought of having to do it all solo. The sad part is i really want him 80 just the solo quests outweigh this fact.

I think EQ2 is already doing a great job of wiping itself out, no outside influence necessary.

I really dont see eq2 falling on its face to any game. Hell it has been around for the past 8 years. Yes, maybe not the strongest game out there but all in all its the best I think. Yes, lots of people have stupid bitches and complaints about eq2 but that just means we are still interested in the game and want to see changes and someday soe will do the changes and we all will be happy for a bit and then start bitching some more. I personally rarely ever bitch about the game cause I Love the game play and the characters looks and everything else. I think SoE has made a great game and continue to do something to keep our interest in this game. So in conclusion AoC will be another vanguard or some shit. or hell it may even be the next best thing but you all know that you love the evercrack that SoE makes and will continue to show that you are still alive by bitching about the game and while you are bitching you will be doing it in /ooc and that means SoE is still entertaining your ass. This isnt a rant by me just an observation and my thoughts. If something sounds all fucked up its cause im not going to read my post before i post it cause its my thoughts. Anywho See yall in game.

RoK sucks huge dangly donkey balls, i hate sony for making me solo with my defiler (remember start of RoK when killing a ^^^ gave like 0.0001% xp? yeah fun times /wrists), fucking bastards.

Game gets dumbed down every chance they get, lag is horrible, raids are designed by certified idiots with 0 imagination, progression & itemization are jokes ... the list goes on and on.

I loved EQ2, being my first MMO, but they're making it very hard to love atm, i've cancelled my first account waiting for AoC discs to arrive (yeah, thanks Amazon, fuckers didnt even send pre-order code). If AoC is half as good as people say it is then there goes 2nd account as well.

i feel the same way, Level 70 Assassin and level 70 guardian.. wouldnt mind getting either of them to 80 but the RoK zones just blow.

Conversely, leveling in Aoc seems to be smooth and effortless, always new quests to do, can do them solo or swap to an epic zone with a group and bang them out together.. XP rate seems good to me considering the real game of raiding/siege doesnt start till 80 anyhow.

I'll be in EQ2 for the forseeable future. I'm hoping Warhammer doesn't blow, cause AoC doesn't deliver ENOUGH to quit EQ2. Hell, my 25 ranger really has 2 combos that are useful, and that's it. I realize there are a lot of levels to go, but come on? 25 levels into it and doing the same shit over and over and over again?

At least SOE and Blizzard know you cannot make the lower levels completely bland.

hopefully funcom has learned from other games and has done an awesome job with end game... seeing how the beginning feels more like a test/learning experience, getting you ready for what's to come.. and from interviews i've seen that seems to be their mentality. cheers.
