End game has little to nothing to do with the journey everyone takes to get there.

That's like saying you can't comment on how shitty a game is until you beat the final boss, I honestly don't care how good ( or horrible ) the end game is in AOC, if the journey that you take to get there is shitty no one will play it.

Of course if your sole intention of an mmo is simply to reach and play with end game content only then ignore this post lol, but just saying not everyone will want to specifically play the end game.

I think the end game on AoC will be just fine. It seems like thats what they are the most focused on. I'm looking forward to seeing it.

But there is more then one "end game" so to speak.

Some people will never raid, some will only pvp, and some will just settle for the groupable dungeons, so right there, there are 3 different "end games" that really have no connection with one another.

PVP may follow diff rules then raids and dungeons do etc etc

So like I was saying, whether or not you have raided in AOC, really has no bearing on the rest of the game, and as such people are free to comment on any aspect, so long as they have at least experienced it.

I do agree though that the people saying AOC will kill eq2 are assuming way too much.

From what I hear there is quite a bit of endgame all ready actually in the game, plus all the guild pvp raids/sieges/mini games, the hype is only gonna get bigger and better.

Shit, I remember getting to max level in EQ2 in T5 and the only things to raid were a few contested and it sucked balls until they added instances to fill up all the empty play time.

I honestly can't see how people still play EQ2 and talk about endgame, this fucking games endgame as you call it blows a fat dick.
