Done some reading up on this MMO coming fall 2008 (which means sometime summer 2009 ... maybe). It looks like it could be interesting but I am a little unsure as to me there seems to be a lot of parallels to Star-wars Galaxies even though it is not an SOE game, and we all know what a let down that one was.

If anyone gets into the beta in coming weeks let us know how it looks and if it has any potential. I don't beta myself, I work in IT so I don't do IT work for free, I spend enough time testing my own shit =/.

Would be nice to have a decent non fantasy MMO. Tried TR and just seemed like a dumb storyline and gameplay and it felt like a fantasy based game just looked science fiction, could not get into it.

<3 Stargate so I'd like to see it make it as a nice alternative mmo, but I have a feeling its going to be another MXO.

I'm keeping any eye on it, as I really liked the movie and the TV show. I was pretty disappointed by TR too, so I'm hoping this does better.

Not holding my breath though.

Or just the standard, set your expectations low so you cant be disappointed?

Trick is: Don't set expectations, try the game yourself (post beta) and see if you like it. Otherwise the doomsayer/sky-is-falling crying certainly is getting boring.
