Default Eq2 standing the test of time for the right reasons

Like most of the ppl that post here I have played heaps of games, from quake1 to unreal to cs to Vanguard and tried Final fantasy, list goes on. my fav away from eq2 is bf2. what stands out is that I have a choice of very successful games. 1/ bf2 i can go in shoot the crap out of someone love it to death and switch it of. 2/ eq2 we can go in and raid have great fun log out, and still working out the in and outs of the raid for the next week, its all about longevity and i believe eq2 has got it right apart from the fact we still waiting on guild halls .
The amazing work some raid leaders do to ensure success of a raid, the research of mobs etc the players getting their best gear, poisons and potions heals and regen gear, crit and AA spec for diff raids. its a work of art. 24ppl to work with. not many companies curse that on their management. the constant yelling in vent and the laughter of the mob death. Its gota be a great game! ( unless i`m missing something)
I cherish every minute that i see someone say goodbye for a game and few weeks/months later theres that face again, trying to do the catchup game. but in all honesty it is really great that Gaming gets the following it deserves no what the game. it is the end user that will decide if a game stays or not, and thats what ensures we will see some fantastic developments over the short term while the SOE`s of the world compete for our dollar. and hate them or love them we all doing one of them a favour and making them rich.
In hindsight I would say it was probably a mistake for SOE to take over the reigns of Vanguard and allowing such a huge amount of players switch from eq2, when the numbers were alot stronger than now, and maybe could have pushed the team there to get their A into G and finish guild halls and other issues in the game. with a lesser following it may have allowed them some breathing space, maybe at a reduced cost over all between the two games in dollar terms, but thats hindsight.
The thought of the Guild halls and stuff coming out keeps me entrenched in the game. and I do see some long term hard core players (benotall raiders) still loving the game and logging in each day. it is just really refreshing to see how ppl can dedicate them self to a Guild- a game- and really it is a some what way of life, ppl get married travel around the world to meet woohoo. won`t get that watching stupid tv.

well thats my bit for another 6months lol . Be good to see the strengths of the game in forums as well as the not so good, and they all need to be addressed not just one side. see you all online.

Someone care to condense this wall of text down for me a bit? Between the distinct lack of punctuation and paragraph breaks I can't make heads or tails of it.

The fucking short version:
EQ2 will live. People will come back. Give me Guild Halls.

What I don't get is why all you people that have quit EQ2 are still reading and posting on EQ2flames if you all are so disgusted with it now.

Even though I've just started playing the game, I understand, somewhat, why you all have left, but seriously.

You don't need to be jerks to someone who has taken the time to write a GOOD OP on the game that I love, and I would assume you all used to love. (Meaning the people that have quit.)

Not trying to start a fight, just pointing out the negativity that isn't needed.

Most of us enjoy the community, not the game. Thus we post here but don't play.

I'm amazed that even the most devout fanboy could think EQ2 is thriving.

It's thriving more than most other SOE games!
