So just stfu with your stupid pro-SOE bullshit. Its all crap and no one here is interested. The EQ2 team is fucked atm and its only getting worse. You can call losing each and every worthwhile dev you've had (except for a few like Saav) normal turnover but you're absolutely full of shit.

People are leaving SOE and EQ2 because of their business practices and its work environment. Because they want to make changes for the good of the game and can't. Because SOE cares more about pumping out expansions than their community or the health of their game. Because SOE hires ppl with zero dev experience from their forums and lets them take over entire parts of their game. Or maybe its because QA to SOE is a $10 an hour (in San Diego no less) job that you staff through a temping agency.

So you can spout shit like your king somebody but the point is I know everyone on the EQ2 team and I knew them 3 years ago when it was full of passionate and smart people who actually cared about the game. Funny then that almost all of those motherfuckers are gone to be replaced with people who hardly know what the fuck they're doing. Or replaced with people who do, like Achronix, but he is so butthurt his best pal Gallenite ditched him that he sits around playing WoW all day instead of designing VP gear worth a shit and he has to go back and do it later after much convincing from Aeralik and Co.

So obviously I can get inside the entrance at SOE and I've had them foot the bill for many a meal and shots of liquid cocaine.

My statement is still: Good riddance Lyndro. He was only "Lead" on RoK because Dymus left to 38 Studios. Had Dymus stayed, Lyndro would've been a lackey like always whose claim to fame was the amazing DMP.

a dev studio and musicians are kind of opposites. i'm pretty sure devs that meet Gaige and hang out with him remember him forever.

Turnover in the game design industry is always high. To remain in the same position or even the same project for more than 5 years is career suicide. Game designers want a broad resume that span several different specialties. It preps them for the production roles later on.
