Egh Game developers move around alot. Its the best way in the business to increase salary. Very rare will you find people spending 25+ years with the same company anymore (unless you work for the Government).

Eitherway eq2 is still fucked. It takes several months for a new developer they hire with a communication theater arts degree to figure out wtf they are doing. When's that next expansion again?

Edit: Question? What's up with all the people posting on Eq2flames now that don't play eq2 anymore. There are about as many people posting on these boards that don't play the game then actually do.

Turnover in the game design industry is always high. To remain in the same position or even the same project for more than 5 years is career suicide. Game designers want a broad resume that span several different specialties. It preps them for the production roles later on.

EQ2 is not unique in that developer and team leads leave for other companies and/or other projects. I think at last count there was about 1 or 2 people out of 65 on the Blizzard WoW development team that actually started at Blizzard. EA's development teams are now 90% made up of Mythic immigrants. And, there are zero original team members on the Bioware staff.

Orly EA is huge and has multiply studios with in i highly doubt that and now take the rest of your argument as more narrow viewed biased fanboi shit because Soe has 3more inchs of dildo to shove up your ass
