I was soloing the entirely of PoA (including the dragon rooms) before RoK came out as well. It's really wasn't terribly difficult for raid geared characters who didnt suck at their class to burn through heroic content.
Shit, I can remember back in early KoS (before that LU that fucked over brawlers) I was soloing most of PoA (including yellow ^^^'s) in crappy legendary gear with like 30 total AA's on my bruiser.
