I got an email from SOE today, trying to bribe me to come back. They are offering free subscription til July 31, a bunch of in game items, trying to hype it up and say everything is awesome now. Unfortunately, they didn't say anything about fixing SK's, or the pure shit raid encounters, or fucked itemization. Just shows how out of touch they are with the players, and the reason their POS game is on its final breath.

So is that stating that they are activating almost 2,000,000 accounts? Just goes to show you how bad things have gotten considering most ppl's guestimates is that EQ2 is down to about 100,000 active accounts, probably less since AoC.

i happen to have a second account, which was flagged inactive (which i just remembered), so i didnt let that opportunity slip by and took a look at the claimable stuff you get in eq2!

and i really got a blast, theyre extremely awesome, and by awesome i mean ridiculous:

- 3 tradeskill bonus-xp potions, 1 hr, 55%
- 3 adventure bonus-xp potions, 1hr, 55%
- 3 charges for a makeover-mirror, with the implementation of barbers to the game, thats a solid gift of 3 gold!!!!
- one 12slot bag with 15% weight reduction, and:
- a one charge item, which will teleport you to a zone fitting the level of your char (norratian tourism voucher)

potions and bag are named XYZ of the prodigal

and thats all folks, i dunno bout the eq1-stuff, but thats it for eq2

You are also forgetting about the 2 free months of game-play and free RoK+expansions.

As well as the cloak when the next expansion is released (/shrug).

They're obviously including all of the trial accounts created by chinese plat farmers to use to spam us with advertisements. It sort of figures that those accounts would get free play time too.
