guess i wasnt gone from the game long anough to get the free time for eq2...but they did send me my time for eq1.....like im ever going to play that game again.

haha being pissed about people getting rok for free...gimme a break.

anyone that has been here since launch has paid for EVERY xpac and anyone that joined after any xpac got them all for free when u compare what u payed originally for eq2 back in 2004. eof came out and u could buy that with the whole game and everything b4 it while myself and many others paid for it all individually.

so many people in forums bitching cause they dont have enuff people on their servers, then when soe tries to give incentive to bring more to us the wails begin. stfu and deal with it or quit.

i do not agree with the $5 discount on the next xpac to these people but they may give it to the die hards too. either way makes no difference cause if u want it you will pay, if not you will just come here and cry how u quitting, soe sux and the rest of the retard things the quitters do instead of playing that new game u ran to the store to get.

This shit is a slap in the face by SoE they give free time and shit to those who have quit so they can boost there numbers over the summer. Thing is dipshit, all those that actually come back will either A. quit before or after the free time is up... oh look, subs drop. Or B. stay and try to survive the travesty that is RoK.

SoE fucks over the existing player base in hopes that "returners" stay and helps the sub number increase.

No matter how you look at this it's a poor move by SoE to isolate the existing playerbase by giving there "new" playerbase all kinds of goodies.

I would bet if SoE actually gave the existing players some oh I don't know .. Free time, maybe an extra toon slot, some title or shit and fix a few of the major complaints people have that those players would or could say good things about SoE. But the head of the marketing department has his/her head so firmly up Smedley's ass this will not happen.

I didn't play AoC so that card is useless for me. I quit all MMO's for the time being.

Edit I will agree with you on the $5 off screwjob, that the new players will get if they buy the next Expack. That should actually extend to current players.
