Even if it's not the most needed fix to this game....

I have always felt that runspeed progression in this game sucked.

IMO....
Ranking order for speeds should have been

Player Spells - Bard > Druid, even though I play a druid, I think that at max AA invested into run speed and level that a bard should atleast have 10% higher speed then a druid.

Mount Speeds- Since Dijinni Master's Prism we have seen mounts attached to stats, though usually at a cost(Investing Time into raiding, questing or status points)

Non-mount items- Earring of Solstice is the item I can think of, I really think it should be more like 45% or 50% instead of 55%, it's just plain to high incomparison to the work put into getting the item.

Due to run speed and portals, there are enough druids around as is. They oughta give 50% run speed to all characters below level 70.... it's a PITA to level as it is, let alone for those who can't transfer money to a new toon.

I think the way they approached runspeed was a break from MMO/EQ traditions and general lore, and could have been addressed better. Something like the following:

Desired runspeed breakdown (using T8 numbers as example):

Tier baseline: 45% (charged crafted items)
Druid/shaman (self only buff): 45-50%
Status mounts: 52-55% w/ average stats
Bards (group): 60% w/ minor stats
Fabled boss drop: 62-65% w/ impressive stats

And then scale it up from the tier baseline for future tiers...

They should take all runspeed buffs out of the game and all mounts should be capped at 15%.
