Raiding in a fun and skilled guild is still great fun. I guess quite a bunch of people left claiming "EQ2 is shit!" just because their shortbus guilds (allegedly uber) were used to killing all those easy mode encounters in EoF.

In RoK one person can screw a whole raid. So imo RoK raiding beats EoF raiding by far, at least since they changed some mobs and fixed melee hit rates.

Also there just isn't any better games out there. AoC was fun for 20 lvls but the rest basically sucked. I'll try Aion, though.

As many said, until something better comes along I will have to donate my spare time and money to EQ....AOC is a mayor let down.

Even IF "fuckup" is able to improve AOC a LOAD during the next months there is no way I can support a game that lets me beta test it while I pay for it (for the second time).

I kind of agree with this. At least in RoK there's a pretty distinct line of progression with Byzola, Trak, and Tangrin for the hardcore guilds and Venril, Nexona, and Maestro for the casual raiding guilds.

Last tier everything was a fucking joke. Avatars were the toughest content in the game and the majority of them were able to be 2-3 grouped.

The main problem with RoK is the heroic content is shit. There's no reason to do deep Seb or deep Chardok, there's no good grind dungeons like SoS and PoA, and it's sorely lacking a challenging instance like Nizara.

You said Fable had too much dead weight. So having some shit players killed the guild on tough RoK encounters.

I honestly don't think the "old Fable" would be behind on progression.

I don't think you guys would have tried to kill P'Tasa with the following strat Fable used last week:
They had Faulissa tanking it in mt group and they had 3 tanks stripped down naked in another group dying to 1-shot whenever they got agro due to the memwipes. After a few hours of trying this ridiculous idea they lost a few guildies again.
Come on... P'Tasa is easy as fuck. Casuals kill him np and he tells you what to do...

Death Coordination is soooo 2007.

I don't think most of those that left (you included) would use that strat, Hux.
