To be in Ventrilo while not in game at all! Ever wanna log into vent to see who's around before logging in? Maybe I wanna play another game and still be in vent and reachable in case I'm needed? Plus ventrilo uses awesome codecs, has excellent functions, and wil ventrilo 3.0 it is just about perfect in terms of quality and configuration. It's worth the 15 bucks a month.

While vent is really nice quality and has a lot of configurations the problem with vent is the fact it does not regulate voices from my knowledge. (at least i havent seen it by going thru it) What really sucks is if you have the fucktard that is in vent that all of a sudden gets this bit of excitement and yells well it comes out as a yell and VERY loud. The only thing I wish vent would do is to put a regulater on the input so you can control how loud the sounds will come thru that way if joe shmuck yells you wont have to get your ears checked out......

^ i thought vent already had such a thing enabled. You can turn people up or down depending on how loud you hear them. its under the special effects tab.

Yeah I'm the dipshit when clearly you didn't read everything that was written in the OP. Just hop on that bandwagon and cry about how your shitbox is going to lag even more because a different form of voice communication is being offered.

While yes you can adjust all of that you cannot adjust when they are excited and blurt something out like a monkey. It comes across 5x or more louder than what you have them so i am forced to keep ppl very low output due to this and have to strain to hear them when they talk normally.

Your ability to name call is rather generic friend. I didn't intend to flame you, rather, I was just pointing out the fact that you write a comment like "more lag?" and have a signature that says "think before you post in '08" (which btw the whole "--- in '08" is rather played out). I suppose that fits considering the attempt you just made at an insult on me.

Anyways, as for pissing in my coffee, never had such a thing happen. That would be terrible I imagine. I did have someone cut in front of me and then proceed to slam on brakes for a light that was yellow and my laptop flew down into the floor board. That didn't make me very happy. I hope you enjoyed my anecdote.

As for the fanboi comment... seriously?

Also, I hope your job is learning how to formulate proper sentences cause you sure do lack those abilities as well!
