I agree with you.

I was more or less referring to my own class: Assassin, since many people seem to think that we're crazy overpowered in our current state.

Well, usually the dev chat contains information that, for the most part doesn't interest me, but that's okay, as there's still a Q&A going on.
But the lack of... well, anything, reallyin this one is disappointing.

So what do we have? We have some munchkin asking a question that's been asked in every dev chat ever since the cold war ended, we've got a lot of "pretty good progress", "seeing some pretty good stuff" and "still working on that" by Froech... and uh-oh, dev chat over.
Frankly, for info about the game, some of the dev's blogs are a much more interesting read.

Ofc not every entry in every blog is a good read, just saying that there's usually more (compressed) info to be found there.
