My point was not that I liked the solo quests, but rather that every single person who bitched that it was "too hard" has been a dud recruit.

It was a lot of quests, no question, but the process weeds out a lot of people too lazy to take the time to better themselves, in whatever way it's necessary.

People whining about group content strike me as the sort who just want to leech off the 5 or 23 other people in their group or raid to get the loot/xp without really working for it. And don't tell me that it's harder for healers to solo quest and they *need* groups, because my husband and I both have solo ground healers up. (Mine's only 73 because it's not a priority, but still.)

You know what? Solo quests will weed out the losers, and I'm sick and tired of dealing with them.

BRING IT ON. MORE SOLO QUEST GRINDS!

So you like grinding out boring, fetch-me-x#-of-this-item quests for 10 lvls straight. Sweet.
However, this is a massive muiltiplayer game and soloing should not be the favored method of play.

Anyone who admits they think the 70-80 grind is actually difficult must have some serious learning difficulties.

I don't see how you actually gain some kind of EQ2 enlightenment by questing to 80. It teaches you nothing. There is no challenge, no danger, no grouping, no interaction.

Fuck the questing. It's shit, boring, pointless and painful. I would love to hear about people really saying fuck you to the questing and grinding to 80 in PoA but I doubt it's happened.

The OP is full of shit, first get your healer to 80 (not 73) then post about it dumbass. I didn't roll a defiler to solo 10 levels of tedium. I rolled him to group and raid, simple as that. If the game forced me to do solo quests that's just fucked and in the end was one of the reasons i quit. Your theory is just that, a theory.

My theory is most of your recruits are duds because you're on a shit server in a shit guild?

The grind to 90 should not happen in any way, shape, or form. 80 happened with the silly promises that the flaws of 1-70 would be fixed. 90 is not allowed.

I don't mind some solo quest content as long as they give you the OPTION to grind in a group to the lvl cap. Grinding in a group should offer the same if not better XP than solo questing... and where they really fucked up is when they completely nerfed grinding XP.

Why should clicking a guy, then walking over and clicking another guy give me 5% exp, when killing a Triple up Yellow Con Mob in a group of 3 ... gives me .00001% xp?

Because fighting is easy...it's knowing when not to fight...that will lead you down the road to true enlightenment.
