BRING IT ON! Raise the level cap and make it another solo quest grind to 90!!
Seriously.
I'm an officer in my guild, and it seems like every person who as whined and complained about the solo quests, or begged for help because it was too hard, or otherwise bitched about the time spent levelling, has turned out to be a DUD as a recruit.
Yeah, it's a grind, yeah it's a little dull. But you know what else is dull? Pulling mobs and dying repeatedly trying to learn a strategy. Paying repair bot bills with plat you'd like to spend on Masters. Going into instances with less than perfect groups because you need the gear from them to do your job.
Solo quests are NOT HARD. As a guild recruiter, the best recruits I've had are the people who INDEPENDENTLY figure out how to play their classes to the best of their ability. The people who go out of their way to research what they need, and then do what it takes to get it together on their own.
People whining about group content strike me as the sort who just want to leech off the 5 or 23 other people in their group or raid to get the loot/xp without really working for it. And don't tell me that it's harder for healers to solo quest and they *need* groups, because my husband and I both have solo ground healers up. (Mine's only 73 because it's not a priority, but still.)
You know what? Solo quests will weed out the losers, and I'm sick and tired of dealing with them.
BRING IT ON. MORE SOLO QUEST GRINDS!
