(If your a lower teir toon and have your combat exp enabled this may not be for you, because you wont get exp grouped like this, I'm not sure if you can be mentored during.)This is for the evil side.

1st you need a group like ie on teir two and any teir higher. Get the quest from the scientists near the storms,go to north freeport talk arcane scientist there get update,then go to lavastorm talk scientist in the temple on the docks , then back to north freeport talk to the guy at the mage guild again get goggles and potion. Then go to the ruins using the bell in NFP. There are 2 storm instances there go the one on the left as soon as you leave the docks.Put on your gogles to see the tempest infected orcs. Cleanse 9 creatures ,they only spawn in sets of 3, a voidbeast will come out of them when you cleanse each one and you both kill it,so take turns pulling. Do this 9 times each.Then run back to mage guild in NFP,talk to the same guy and get update.(Everyone in your group will have to do cleanse a set of 9 each to get credit.)You get a litle coin for the first reward.

Next is where the lower teir toon comes in,because the voidbeasts are scalable to your lvl.Let them pull and the stronger guys kill super fast.

Now it gets easy.GEt the quest again from the guy that just paid you,and run back to the ruins. Now you can all get credit for each kill. I like to kill 6 at the first storm ,they seem to spawn faster,then i run to other storm there kill 3 more and turn in for a note of service award which can be turned in upstairs at the mage guild.REPEAT until you all have enuff rewards to buy a great cloak,that is lvl one,or great looking armor and a few weapons and furniture.No buffs on armor or robes ,but the stuff looks great.

Once get the first part out of the way it takes about 10- 12 mins to complete it for your reward.

I may have left somethings out but if you are not a complete noob it will be self explanatory as you go.Youll get the gist quick.Enjoy.

Or you could just /yell to get voidbeast to despawn and avoid the whole lower level toon bullshit altogether.

Might want to change title to "The not so fast way to do the tempest quests".

Aye, it takes less than 10mins solo. Faster if you yell them off or have FD. Longest part of this quest is running back and forth and waiting for the tainted mobs to respawn.

you can as well use the time of the cooldown to take a few steps back so theyll break

things to waste your time on this quest more efficiently:

- beeing a cleric: bind near the return-npc and use odyssey to call back
- beeing a sorc: there are some storms near teleportation-spires (dont know which tho)

port to CL --> tag 3 nearby storms --> port to Antonica --> evac to NQ zone in --> run to turn in guy in NQ --> Port to CL and repeat.

if you have wizzy/fury ports. ^_^

Group with 2 others and you each head for a different storm cell. Or, group with 3 or more others, and send them to diff storm cells while you wait at the zone in. You will all get the update for cleansing as long as you are in the same zone.

For fun, try to make the void beasts run for another group member. Happened to us a few times, but I never figured out why. Reminded me of the days when i was scrying in antonica, and the skellies would run across the zone and attack my tank.

I don't know why anyone would run off or even FD, yelling is the easiest fastest way to go. (if you have trouble target yourself and hit the yell button or type /y or make a game macro that does both of those like I do)

Yell mob, it despawns in 3 seconds.

I killed them because they conned white, which meant I could use bounty and earn some jack.

They need to fix the /yell bug. Those mobs should never despawn, chase you all the way to the zone line, and wait for you to return.
